Rolando Chiaraluce
It has been almost sixty 'years since the then twelve year old Rolando Chiaraluce, already aspiring carpenter son of art, learning the techniques of carving and inlay at the Art Institute "Bernardino di Betto" in Perugia. The passion has always remained alive but the work kept him busy on other fronts, still in the 'field of carpentry, working with several architects in the field of custom furniture. Now, with more time available and a greater knowledge of the materials gathered over the years can finally devote himself to his first love: the inlay. Inspired by drawings of the 'era and latterly by antique prints, has already exhibited his works at several exhibitions of art and cultural obtaining multiple consents and enthusiastic feedback for the great manual dexterity, the originality of subject, especially related in Umbria, Perugia, in particular, and for the thoroughness of its work. The coloring obtained with different types of wood, left strictly to the natural, enhances the depth of the works, giving them a sense of realism. An old material coupled with a passion and a wise technique these paintings make unique and inimitable, rich in fascination and charm.
